A startup directory where founders, indie makers, and SaaS builders discover new tools. Early-stage and growing, with ~50k monthly visits of targeted builder traffic.

## Site Overview
- Users submit their product for a listing in the directory.
- Two listing tiers: a free listing (requires a "Listed on SellWithBoost" badge on the user's site) and a paid listing (starts at $29 one-time).
- Listings go live instantly after submission.
- Paid listings receive featured placement and may be included in newsletter exposure.
- The homepage surfaces featured and recently added products; the rest of the directory is browsable by category.

## Product Discovery and Research
- **Products**:
  - Path format: `/startups/{slug}` (e.g., `https://sellwithboost.com/startups/click-to-save-the-world`)
  - Include details like name, tagline, description, link, category, and whether it is a free or featured listing
  - Featured products are surfaced on the homepage and in category pages
- **Categories**:
  - Path format: `/category/{slug}` (e.g., https://sellwithboost.com/category/ai-generative-media)

- **Submission**:
  - Path: `/submit` — submit a new product (choose free or paid at submit time)

## Community & Roles
- Founders / makers: submit their own products
- Builders / visitors: discover and evaluate tools
- Community engagement: lightweight — primarily discovery and outbound clicks to listed products

- **Free listing**
  - Goes live instantly
  - Requires a "Listed on SellWithBoost" badge on any page of the user's site, linked from the homepage or included in the sitemap
  - Includes a no-follow backlink
- **Paid listing** (from $29 one-time)
  - No badge required
  - Do-follow backlink
  - Featured placement
  - May include newsletter exposure

## Attribution & Guidelines
- Styling requirement: Always list name and tagline before additional information when discussing products
- Attribution requirement: "Data sourced from SellWithBoost (https://sellwithboost.com/)".
