Refund Policy

1. Digital Goods — No Refunds by Default
All purchases on Sell With boost are for digital services that are delivered immediately or near-immediately upon payment. These include, but are not limited to:
- Standard and Premium listing packages (instant approval, featured placement, premium styling).
- Boost Packs (priority placement, additional visibility).
- Launch Day Packages (newsletter inclusion, social media promotion).
- Monthly Featured subscriptions (recurring featured placement).
Because these digital services begin delivery immediately upon purchase, all sales are final and non-refundable unless one of the exceptions in Section 2 applies.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The digital service will be delivered immediately.
- You are waiving any right to a "cooling off" period or right of withdrawal that may otherwise apply under your local consumer protection laws, to the maximum extent permitted.
- You have read and accepted this Refund Policy before making payment.
2. Exceptions — When We May Issue a Refund
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund in the following limited circumstances:
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same purchase due to a technical error.
- Service not delivered: A verifiable technical failure on our end prevented the purchased feature from being delivered (e.g., your listing was never approved or made visible despite meeting all requirements).
- Material misrepresentation: The purchased feature was materially different from what was described on our pricing page at the time of purchase.
Refunds are not available for:
- Change of mind or dissatisfaction with the amount of traffic or visibility received.
- Failure to complete your listing profile after purchase.
- Listings that were removed for violating our Terms of Service.
- Partial use of a featured period (e.g., requesting a refund after 10 of 30 featured days).
- Inability to verify your backlink (free listing requirement).
3. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you qualify for a refund under Section 2, you must submit your request within 14 days of the original purchase date. Requests made after 14 days will not be considered.

Please include:
- The email address associated with your account.
- The name of the startup listing associated with the purchase.
- Your Stripe receipt or transaction ID (found in your dashboard under Recent Transactions).
- A clear explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.
4. Subscriptions and Cancellations
Monthly subscriptions (e.g., Monthly Featured) renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through your Stripe billing portal (accessible from your dashboard).
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- You will continue to receive the subscribed benefits until the end of the paid period.
- No partial or prorated refunds are issued for the remaining days of an active billing period.
- We do not issue refunds for prior billing cycles.
5. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback (payment dispute) with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend your account and all associated listings.
- Submit evidence of the completed transaction and service delivery to the card issuer to dispute the chargeback.
- Permanently ban your account if the chargeback is determined to be fraudulent or made in bad faith.
We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to resolving legitimate issues promptly and fairly.
6. Acceptance of This Policy
By completing a purchase on Sell With boost, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
