I’ve always been fascinated by cars, but I quickly realized that buying one is far more complicated than it should be.

Finding the right car can mean spending weeks comparing models, watching reviews, reading specifications, checking safety ratings, calculating ownership costs, and trying to make sense of information scattered across countless websites. Even after all that research, it is still difficult to know whether a specific car is actually right for you.

That frustration led me to build KAR AI.

I wanted to create something that could understand what a person is actually looking for, process complex automotive information, and turn it into a clear, personalized recommendation without requiring users to become automotive experts or write enormous prompts.

KAR AI is built around that idea. Instead of making people do the research themselves, we give them an intelligent automotive research layer that handles the complexity behind the buying decision. Users can find cars, compare them, check safety, calculate total cost of ownership, research accessories, build shortlists, and ask questions—all in one place.

What excites me most is that this can fundamentally change how people buy cars. The goal isn't simply to build another automotive website. It's to make finding the right car as simple as having a conversation.
